Creating Brand Impressions, That Last.

Daffodil Parade, 2023. The Puyallup Indian Tribe commissioned me for this project for one goal, brand this year’s daffodil parade float to last forever. I utilized many skillsets throughout this project, such as graphic design, mock ups, conceptualization, painting, and vinyl installation. The deliverables for this project were as follows:

  • Painting of 4 paddles, I teamed up with Chief Leschi Indian School’s art program with the youth to finalize a design for the paddles, where they were able to paint 1 of the 4 paddles with the finalized design.

  • Created a 30-minute tutorial video for the youth to use with my methods of painting, applying masks, vinyl, and sealing artwork.

  • Logo design crafted for this year’s theme “90-years around the sound”. Puyallup Tribe utilized the logo for hoodies & marketing material. Logo was also used in the vinyl application on the back of the parade float.

  • Vinyl installation where I personally applied vinyl on the back of the float. I utilized mock ups for the Puyallup Tribe to envision how the artwork would be applied before installation occured.

The project timeline was 1-month, each week I dedicated a deliverable and executed it accordingly.

The takeaways from each project I tackle, each hold new experiences and relationships that make this work worth it! Expressing creativity through my many skillsets in graphics/video/photo also allowed me to document this project to look back on.
